ABOUT NUMEN
The office behind the work
Numen is a back office CRM for trade contractors. It was founded by Tanner Bennett, who saw the need for a product built around the trades: one that keeps small shops' hands on their tools and helps them run like much bigger businesses.
WHY I STARTED NUMEN
The best tradespeople I worked with were running their whole business from a phone.
I created Numen after running a construction firm that worked with trades and subcontractors throughout the CSRA. In the course of managing our company, I noticed something: almost every owner we worked with was managing everything they did from their phone.
Again and again, I watched master plumbers, electricians and tile layers either ignore a phone that never stopped ringing with calls and pinging with texts, or stop and start their work over and over, slowing every job down. I knew there had to be a better way, for our subs and for every tradesperson running their own business.
That's where Numen comes in. We do the work that keeps your hands off your tools: the calls, the scheduling, the invoices and the follow-up. It's time-consuming, low-paying work, but your business can't run without it. We take it off your plate so you can grow like a bigger company, with a professional presence as good as your work.
